Wintertime in Berlin. A top 5 of Saunas!
It is already getting really chilly in Berlin. It is the time of year to visit museums and to explore the city by public transport rather than by bike. Ofcourse there are lots and lots of things to see and do in Berlin, but you shouldn´t forget to take some time for yourself for relaxation too! So to help you to stay warm and to relax we made a top 5 of the best saunas in Berlin.

1. SaunaBad Berlin
Located fairly close by our hostel this sauna is easy to reach by foot.
It has a Finish Sauna, 95degreees Celsius and also a BioSteamSauna which is a little less hot, with 75degrees. There is a really lovely garden where you can cool down in between the sauna visits. Opening hours daily from 15h till 24h. Tuesday is ladies day!
Entrance fee is 10€ for 2,5 hours.
2. Olivin Sauna
The Olivin Sauna is also really close by the hostel. They have a finish Sauna, and also a really nice relaxing area. The bamboo garden with a fountain makes you forget that you are in a big and busy city.
Thursday is Ladies day!
Opening hours, 12h till 24h. Entrance fee is 10€ for 2,5 hours.
the Kaminsauna is a family-friendly sauna, with over 700squaremeter it offers a lot of space for your wellness and relaxation. There are 3 floors and they have a bio-, Finnish-, and steam-sauna.

4. Hamam Berlin
This is for ladies only! Located in the popular district Kreuzberg, easy to reach by public transport.
It´s getting colder outside so why not warm up a bit at the Hamam to enjoy a really nice Turkish bathing ritual…
Hamam is a bathing ceremony of the cleansing of the body and soul. Relaxation and communication in a warm and pleasant atmosphere are key elements of the Hamam culture. Here women from different cultures and walks of life work and meet.

This is a really special place to dive into relaxation. It is located close to the station Anhalter Bahnhof and easy to reach by public transport. There is a special swimming pool with salty water, you really feel like floating. To enhance the relaxation feeling there are light shows and music underwater! Of course there is a sauna here as well, and if you like you can get a good massage too. It is wise to book the massage in advance though!
